ADD APT Anticor C 6 is a BTA; TTA and amine free water soluble liquid metal passivator. It can be used in acidic as well as in alkaline media.
It is a proprietary mixture of modified mono-and di-Phosphate esters
All types of water based fluids, typical end use concentration of 0.05 - 0.3 wt. % such as
water based emulsions (lacquers and paints)
Easy to handle liquid due to the low viscosity
Remains liquid at low temperatures
Contains no inorganic constitutes
BTA/TTA and Amine free
The absence of amine is responsible that no cobalt leaching will be observed
Protects yellow metals and cobalt alloys from
BTA/TTA and amine free metal passivator. Used as a corrosion inhibitor for Fe and Cu in aqueous systems such as water based emulsions lacquers and paints. Can be used in acidic and alkaline media. Offers low viscosity and no cobalt leaching.
Use level: 0.05-0.3 %wt.
