It is a proprietary blend of Polyalkyleneglycols and siloxane based surface-active components. Paint industry 0.05 to 0.25 % wt. based on total Printing Ink industry 0.05 to 0.25 % wt. based on total ADD APT ® Foamstop MP 33 shows a very rapid defoaming effect under static conditions (very rapid ¡°killing effect¡±). Maintains the defoaming properties over a prolonged period of time ADD APT ® Foamstop MP 33 prevents the formation of macro-foam and reduces the formation of micro-foam. It is recommended for pigmented systems; it does not influence the recoatability. It is easy emulsifiable. 2/3 of the amount should be added during the grinding stage, 1/3 during the ¡®let down¡¯ stage. Effective over a wide pH range (0 to 14) Highly effective, easy emulsifiable, foam control agent. Used for all types of aqueous and non-aqueous systems for paint and printing ink industries. Offers very rapid defoaming effect under static conditions. Maintains defoaming properties over a prolonged period of time. Prevents formation of macro-foam. Reduces formation of micro-foam.
