ADD APT Foamstop MP 51 is a highly effective Foam Control Agent for low VOC-Emulsion systems based on PVAC, Styrene/Acrylics or pure Acrylics.
It is a proprietary blend of mineral oil with surface-active components
Paint Industry 0.25 to 0.75 % wt. based on total formulation
(Flexo-) Printing Inks
ADD APT ® Foamstop MP 51 is recommended for the use in pigmented low VOC-Emulsion
paints, (Flexo-) Printing Inks as well as clear lacquers
ADD APT ® Foamstop MP 51 is easy emulsifiable. 2/3 of the amount should be
added during the grinding stage, 1/3 during the ‘let down’ stage
Very suitable for cost effective, high PVC emulsion paints
Maintains the defoaming properties over a prolonged period of time
Does not contain Nonylphenol derivatives, silicones, mineral oil, amines, nitrates
and fluorides
No intercoat adhesion problems expected when the defoamer is applied
Highly effective foam control agent. Used for low VOC-emulsion systems based on PVAC, styrene/acrylics and pure acrylics, pigmented low VOC-emulsion paints, (flexo-) printing inks, clear lacquers and high PVC emulsion paints. Maintains defoaming properties over a prolonged period of time. Does not contain nonylphenol derivatives, silicones, amines, nitrates and fluorides. Gives no intercoat adhesion. <br>
Use level: 0.25-0.75 %wt based on total formulation.
