ADD APT Foamstop WE 7 is an effective Foam Control Agent for Emulsion systems based on PVAC, Styrene/Acrylics or pure Acrylics.
Combination of white oil and Polyalkyleneglycols
Paint industry 0.25 to 0.75 % wt.
ADD APT ® Foamstop WE 7 is easy emulsifiable. 2/3 of the amount should be added
during the grinding stage, 1/3 during the ‘let down’ stage.
Very suitable for cost effective, high PVC emulsion paints.
Maintains the defoaming properties over a prolonged period of time.
Effective over a wide pH range (4 to 10).
Does not contain Nonylphenol derivatives, silicones, mineral oil, amines, nitrates and
fluorides.
No intercoat adhesion problems expected when the defoamer is applied.
Better long-term stability than silicones
Effective, easy emulsifiable, foam control agent. Used in emulsion systems based on PVAC, styrene/acrylics and pure acrylics for paint industry and in high PVC emulsion paints. Maintains defoaming properties over a prolonged period of time. Offers effectiveness over a wide pH range. Does not contain nonylphenol derivatives, silicones, mineral oil, amines, nitrates and fluorides. Gives no intercoat adhesion and good long-term stability. <br>
