Oxazoline resin emulsion
The Advanced Polymer Resin 200 Series (APR-201, APR-202 & APR-203) are unique polymer emulsions containing pendant oxazoline groups designed to work as an effective waterborne crosslinking agent for polymer emulsions containing carboxyl functionality. The APR-200 Series resins demonstrate excellent adhesion to polyester and other substrates due to the oxazoline groups.

Oxazoline group of APR-200 Series reacts with functional groups such as carboxylic acid, acid anhydride, phenolic hydroxyl, thiol and epoxide. The reaction between the oxazoline group and a carboxyl group is a very effective curing mechanism.

APR-200 Series improves water resistance and heat resistance of ambient-curing contact-type pressure sensitive adhesives.
Improving Surface Adhesion.
For example, since APR-201 has soft polymer structure, the cured film
will exhibit water-resistance characteristics. APR-201 shows excellent performances particularly for adhesives, soft binders and impact-resistance coatings.
VOC free, low toxicity, oxazoline resin emulsion. Used as an effective waterborne crosslinking agent for polymer emulsions containing carboxyl functionality in coatings for metal, PET film and paper. Provides very good adhesion to polyester, low-temperature curing, long pot-life, very good water resistance and adjustable softness/hardness. Reacts with functional groups such as carboxylic acid, acid anhydride, phenolic hydroxyl, thiol and epoxide.
