SAYTEX 120 flame retardant, tetradecabromodiphenoxybenzene is a highly stable
additive containing aromatic bromine.
SAYTEX 120 flame retardant finds application in high performance polyamide and
linear polyester engineering resins and alloys. It also finds application in polyolefins,
wire & cable, and styrenic resins.
SAYTEX 120 flame retardant’s excellent thermal stability, low blooming
characteristics and very good UV resistance make it an excellent choice for use
in engineering resins and other systems where high temperatures are used during
processing. SAYTEX 120 flame retardant is intermediate between SAYTEX 102E
flame retardant and SAYTEX BT-93 flame retardant in blooming stability and
resistance to light.

Highly stable tetradecabromodiphenoxy benzene containing aromatic bromine. Used as a flame retardant in paints. Possesses good thermal stability, low blooming characteristics and very good UV resistance. Used in engineering resins and other systems where high temperatures are used during processing. Suits with in nylon, PET, PBT, styrenics resins.
