SYLVALITE RE 80 HP RESIN is a low odor, light-colored ester of rosin that has been stabilized to
provide excellent performance and aging stability. The stability and polymer compatibility of
SYLVALITE RE 80 HP RESIN make it useful in a wide variety of adhesives, especially PSAs.
SYLVALITE RE 80 HP RESIN is recommended for use in SIS, SBS,
EVA and other hot melts due to its excellent stability, light color, and
low odor. Its excellent polymer compatibility and aging stability
suggest use in pressure sensitive adhesives. SYLVALITE RE 80
HP RESIN can also be used in rubber compounding, sealants,
coatings and other applications.
Compatible with: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) polymers, at all vinyl acetate levels,
Ethylene Ethyl Acrylate, Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene (SIS), Styrene-
Butadiene-Styrene (SBS), SBR, natural rubber, butyl rubber,
neoprene, acrylic, amorphous polypropylene and other polymers and
with phthalate and polyester plasticizers, alkyds, hydrocarbon resins
and terpene resins.
Low odor, light-colored stabilized ester of rosin. Used in coatings. Provides very good performance and aging stability. Offers good polymer compatibility.
