Lotader 2100

Terpolymer composed by ethylene and acrylic ester

Arkema

Lotader® Resins by ATOFINA are characterized by reactivity, crystallinity and fluidity, making them easy to use and readily compatible with different types of plastics. The reactivity is due to the presence of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) or maleic anhydride (MAH) groups -- Lotader® Resins offer excellent thermal stability in conversion. Adhesives Pipeline Coating Pipelines are protected against corrosion by a layer of epoxy, which in turn is protected mechanically by a coating of polyolefins. The use of Lotader® Resins as an intermediary layer ensures a solid link between these two coatings. Among the available grades are: Lotader® 2100 for operating temperatures of up to 70°C Terpolymer of ethylene, acrylic ester and glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) or maleic anhydride (MAH). Used in adhesives for pipeline coatings. Offers reactivity, crystallinity, fluidity, good compatibility and very good thermal stability in conversion. Provides a solid link between a layer of epoxy and a coating of polyolefins.
