NeoCryl A-1093 is a modified styrene/acrylic
copolymer dispersion for use in Over Print Varnish
with excellent coatability, gloss and transparency.
NeoCryl A-1093 is free of glycol ethers and contains
less than 0.1% of organic solvent, giving the
opportunity to formulate low odor and low VOC
printing inks and OPV’s.
NeoCryl A-1093 in combination with NeoCryl A-1091
can be formulated into high gloss OPV’s.
NeoCryl A-1093 in combination with PE or
PE/paraffin wax dispersions gives excellent water
barrier properties (low cobb). NeoCryl A-1093 has
excellent compatibility with alcohols and glycol
ethers which can be used to improve film formation
and wetting properties.

Anionic modified acrylic/styrene copolymer dispersion. Used in low odour and low VOC printing inks and over print varnishes. Provides very good coatability, gloss and transparency. Contains no glycol ethers and very low level of organic solvent. Can be formulated into high gloss over print varnishes. Gives very good water barrier properties (low cobb) in combination with PE or PE/paraffin wax dispersions. Offers very good compatibility with alcohols and glycol ethers to improve film formation and wetting properties. Forms tough, flexible and clear films. Imparts fast film formation, fat and grease resistance, block resistance and very good water resistance.
