PROXEL BZ is a dual active broad
spectrum biocide for the
preservation of industrial waterbased
products against spoilage
from bacteria, yeasts and fungi.
PROXEL BZ is a 20% aqueous
dispersion of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-
3-one and zinc pyrithione.
PROXEL BZ is effective in a wide
range of industrial aqueous-based
products, particularly in those
products that are susceptible
to fungal contamination.

PROXEL ® BZ preservative, an aqueous dispersion
of a synergistic blend of 1-2-benzisothiazolin-3-one
and zinc 2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide, is an antibacterial/
antifungal preservative for aqueous compositions
such as metal working fluids, latex emulsions,
paints, water based adhesives, aqueous slurries
such as titanium dioxide and clay, and tape joint
compounds
PROXEL BZ is an effective preservative against
growth of the above microorganisms in the
aqueous systems indicated and exhibits:
