PROXEL ® DL, an aqueous solution of 1,2-
benzisothiazolin-3-one, is a microbiostat preserva-tive
for use in the manufacture of aqueous compo-sitions
such as oil in water emulsions (textile spin-finish
solutions, cutting oils), latices, emulsion
paints, water based adhesives, paper coating
compositions (casein/rosin dispersions) and pesti-cide
formulations.
PROXEL DL is an effective preservative against
growth of these microbial agents in the aqueous
systems listed and exhibits:

good compatibility in most aqueous

Paper coating compositions: 0.1-0.3
Aqueous solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one in dipropylene glycol and water. Used as a microbiostat preservative for manufacture of aqueous compositions such as emulsion paints (in-can preservation) and paper coating compositions (casein/rosin dispersions). Offers effective control of a wide range of organisms, ease of use and good compatibility in most aqueous compositions. <br>
