丙烯酸树脂 Acrylic Resins 塑料涂层 Plastic coating 金属 Metal 其它工业 >> 纸涂层 Other industry >> Paper coatings ethyl acetate Dissolve in esters, glycol ethers, glycol ether acetates, ketones, aromatics, mineral spirit, turpentine and chlorinated hydrocarbons Soluble in some alcohols Light and ageing-resistant soft acrylic resins for plasticising cellu-lose nitrate and chlorine-containing binders. They give films great flexibility with excellent adhesion and resistance to ageing. Acronal 4 L is a solution of poly(n-butyl acrylate) in ethyl acetate Acronal 4 L are largely compatible in normal proportions with cellulose nitrate, vinyl chloride polymers, e. g. the Laroflex ® MP and Lutofan ® grades, polyvinyl ethers, e. g. the Lutonal ® A grades and Lutonal M 40, polyacrylates, natural resins, e. g. rosin, plasticizers, e. g. castor oil, the Palatinol ® grades, Plastomoll ® DOA, the Palamoll ® grades and Plastigen ® G. Both products are saponification-resistant, high-tack, high-viscosity soft resins with excellent resistance to light and ageing. Used on their own, Acronal 4 L give tacky films with poor cohesion. Both grades are therefore used only in combination with other binders such as cellulose nitrate or chlorinated compounds in which they act as plasticizers. If they are used in adequate quantities, they can replace the plasticizers that are otherwise normally added. Films of paints that contain Acronal offer good resistance to ageing and good adhesion even to problem substrates. As neither of the Acronal grades is volatile, the elasticity of the films remains practically unchanged with time. used particularly in combination with cellulose nitrate for paper and film coatings, sealing wax, for lacquering and laminating aluminium foil, and for coating plastics. When they are blended with chlorinated binders such as Laroflex MP, both grades can be used for saponification-resistant paints for a range of substrates, e. g. metals, concrete and fibre-reinforced cement. Acronal 4 L can be added to one-component and two-component primers made with suitable resins to improve their adhesion. Light and ageing resistant, soft, tacky, high viscosity acrylic resin. Used for plasticizing cellulose nitrate and chlorine-containing binders for paper and film coatings, for lacquering and laminating aluminium foil, for coating plastics and for paints for a range of substrates such as metals, concrete and fibre-reinforced cement. Offers good flexibility, very good adhesion, good saponification resistance and poor cohesion. Gives compatibility with cellulose nitrate, vinyl chloride polymers, polyvinyl ethers, polyacrylates, natural resins, rosin, plasticizers and castor oil. Can be added to one- and two-component primers to improve adhesion.
