Light and aging resistant soft resin for plasticizing coatings raw
materials and compounding plastics
Acronal LR 8820 is a high viscosity, solvent-free liquid.
In the form supplied, Acronal LR 8820 is miscible with most coatings raw
materials. For example, cellulose nitrate, chlorinated rubber, vinyl chloride
copolymers (Laroflex® MP grades), poly(meth)acrylates, acrylic/styrene
copolymers, alkyd resins, melamine resins (Luwipal® grades), natural
resins, plasticizers (Palatinol® grades), chlorinated paraffins.
Acronal LR 8820 is a soft, tacky, non-volatile resin with exceptional resistance
to light, aging and saponification. It is used for plasticizing coatings
raw materials and compounding plastics.
Manufacturers must carry out their own trials for developing compounds
based on Acronal LR 8820 as, in manufacture and use, the compatibility
of their components and their adhesion to different substrates are affected
by a large number of factors, which we cannot cover exhaustively in our
own trials.
Light and aging resistant, soft, tacky, high viscosity, solvent-free resin. Used for plasticizing coatings raw materials. Offers compatibility with cellulose nitrate, chlorinated rubber, vinyl chloride copolymers, poly(meth)acrylates, acrylic/styrene copolymers, alkyd resins, melamine resins, natural resins, plasticizers and chlorinated paraffins. Provides very good resistance to saponification.
