Acronal LR 8977 is a medium-viscosity fine dispersion that crosslinks
on drying to form a clear, non-tacky film. Paints formulated with suitable anticorrosive pigments and extenders afford very good corrosion
protection.
The main application for Acronal LR 8977 is in water-based, air- or force-dried, anticorrosion systems. The dried coatings exhibit very good
blocking resistance.
Paints can also be formulated for difficult substrates like zinc and
aluminium.
Medium-viscosity fine aqueous dispersion of a self-crosslinking butyl acrylate/styrene copolymer. Used in water-based, air- or force-dried, anticorrosion systems and in paints for difficult substrates like zinc and aluminium. Provides very good blocking resistance. Forms clear, non-tacky film.
