Straight acrylic resin for semi-gloss paints
at 150 g/l VOC with superior block resistance
Ideal for contractor through premium grade interior and exterior semi-gloss paints, Acronal Optive 110 is a straight acrylic resin with good early block resistance, excellent wet adhesion, good freeze-thaw stability, and enhanced thickener response. Acronal Optive 110 allows you to formulate high quality satin through gloss paints while lowering final formulation costs and meeting conventional VOC limits, as well as the upcoming regulations of 150 g/l VOC.
The excellent wet adhesion of Acronal Optive 110 allows formulators to
make paints that adhere to a wide range of surface types, under a variety of conditions. Acronal Optive 110 is also slurry compatible, giving the paint manufacturer flexibility in production and improved efficiency.

Acronal Optive 110 can be used in the formulation of opaque
wood stains. Stains made with Acronal Optive 110 exhibit good
abrasion resistance and low water take-up.
Acronal Optive 110 can also be used in PVA blends to improve
the wet adhesion and block resistance of the PVA. For optimal
performance a blend rate of 20 percent – 25 percent Acronal
Optive 110 is recommended.
Acronal Optive 110 has good adhesion to a variety of properly
prepared substrates including aged alkyd, wood, vinyl, concrete,
and other cementitious materials.
Straight acrylic resin. Used for interior and exterior semi-gloss paints and opaque wood stains. Provides good early block resistance, very good wet adhesion, good freeze-thaw stability, enhanced thickener response, high scrub resistance, good slurry compatibility and high-gloss potential. Offers good abrasion resistance, low water take-up and good adhesion to a variety of substrates including aged alkyd, wood, vinyl, concrete and other cementitious materials. Can be used in combination with PVA.
