Basonat HB 100 is suitable for crosslinking most hydroxylic acrylate resins
such as the Lumitol ® grades and hydroxylic polyesters.
Basonat HB 100 is used to make coatings with particularly good stability
to light and excellent outdoor performance. Sometimes aliphatic polyiso-cyanates
are even used in primers for coating aluminium, plastics and
other difficult substrates (eg, composites). Basonat HB 100 is used for for-mulations
in which the solvent phases of Basonat HB 175 MP/X and P LR
8890, for example, could prove troublesome; for instance, aromatics may
excessively solubilize a polystyrene substrate.
Solvent-free polyisocyanate biuret based on hexamethylene diisocyanate. Used for lightfast and weather-resistant polyurethane finishes such as primers for coating aluminium, plastics and other difficult substrates (composites). Can be used for crosslinking most hydroxylic acrylate resins and hydroxylic polyesters.
