Laromer LR 8981 is intended for the manufacture of radiation-curing
varnishes for wood, wood products, plastics, paper and printing inks.

Laromer LR 8981 is completely miscible with most reactive acrylic resins,
including other Laromer resins.
Laromer LR 8981 is a highly reactive polyester acrylate that can be used
either alone or in combination with other radiation-curable resins for
making UV- and EB-curing varnishes for coating wood, paper and plastics.
Cured coatings based on Laromer LR 8981 exhibit very good flexibility and
abrasion resistance.
Laromer LR 8981 also exhibits particularly good sandability, making it very
suitable as a roller primer.
Medium-viscosity, highly reactive polyester acrylate. Used alone or in combination with other radiation-curable resins for
making UV- and EB-curing varnishes for wood, wood products, plastics, paper and printing inks. Gives complete miscibility with most reactive acrylic resins, very good flexibility and abrasion resistance, and particularly good sandability.
