Universal dispersing resin for radiation-curing offset, flexo and
screen printing inks and for pigment concentrates. In radiation-curing
varnishes, absorption by porous substrates like paper and
wood is reduced.
High-viscosity liquid
Laromer LR 8985 is completely miscible with most reactive acrylic resins,
including other Laromer resins.
Laromer LR 8985 is a modified unsaturated acrylic resin used for
dispersing pigments in the production of UV- and EB-curing inks for offset
(including waterless), flexographic and screen printing. In radiation-curing
varnishes and inks for paper, wood and wood products, absorption into
the substrate is reduced.
Inks based on Laromer LR 8985 are characterized by a very low yield
value (even at high pigmentation), high gloss, low odour and excellent run-ability
– particularly in the offset and flexo processes. Inks and varnishes
based on Laromer LR 8985 can be applied to paper, plastic film, metal,
wood and wood products.
