Amine-modified acrylic resin for making radiation-curing varnishes
for paper, wood, wood products, plastics and printing inks.
Low-viscosity liquid
Laromer LR 8996 is completely miscible with most reactive acrylic resins,
including other Laromer grades.
Laromer LR 8996 is an amine-modified polyether acrylate. Because
Laromer LR 8996 is highly reactive, it is often used in combination with
other radiation-curable resins to increase the overall reactivity of the
formulation.
Laromer LR 8996 can be used as a sole binder in the manufacture of
highly reactive, low-viscosity coatings and printing inks.
Because Laromer LR 8996 is low in residual monomers, it is suitable for
low-odour formulations.
Coating films cured with Laromer LR 8996 are hard and very resistant to
chemicals.
Low-viscosity, highly reactive, amine-modified polyether acrylate. Used for making radiation-curable varnishes for paper, wood, wood products, plastics and printing inks and in combination with other radiation-curable resins to increase reactivity. Gives complete miscibility with most reactive acrylic resins, very good resistance to chemicals, and hardness. Possesses low content of residual monomers. Suits for low-odour formulations.
