Disperbyk-176 Disperbyk-176 deflocculates basically treated phthalocyanine pigments; in this way, the gloss of paint systems is increased, the color strength is improved and the transparency of top coats is increased.
Furthermore Disperbyk-176 strongly reduces mill base viscosity.
Disperbyk-176 is especially suitable for following paint systems: Polyester/Melamine, Acrylic/Melamine, 2pack-PU, Epoxy and Nitrocellulose.
This additive deflocculates pigments. This way, leveling is improved and higher pigment loading is possible. Due to the small particle sizes of the deflocculated pigments, high gloss is achieved and color strength
improved. Additionally, transparency and hiding power are increased.
