Properties
Baysilone Paint Additive Trial Product AC 3451 prevents levelling / flowing resulting in surface structures e.g. hammered effects once when using in precise addition rates for the paint system in question have been determined.
Applications
Baysitone Paint Additive Trial Product AC 3451 can be used in virtually all binder systems.
Addition rate
0.15 - 1% based on wet paint. To regulate the effect, 0.01 - 0.05% Baysilone Paint Additive MA, again relative to wet paint, may additionally be used.
Recoatability
Recoatability is not recommended and is only possible if a Baysilone Paint Additive with anti-silicone action, e.g. Baysilone Paint Additive OL 31, M 51 or M 101, is added at an appropriate addition rate to the subsequently applied coat. Adhesion between base and top coat is usually still reduced even then, however.
