Applications Baysilone®-Paint Additive OL 44 is very versatile. lt is characterised by good to very good efficiency in baking paints based on alkyd resin, alkyd / amino resin combinations and in acrylic resin and acrylic / amino resin combinations. Baysilone®-Paint Additive OL 44 is water-soluble but, in view of the limited stability of such solutions in water-borne systems, extensive trials should always be conducted beforehand. Addition rate 0.05 - 0.5% based on solids content. Recoatability Loss of adhesion between base and top coat or of recoatability is unlikely at low addition rates.
