干燥剂 Drier / Siccative 聚亚安酯 Polyurethane 涂层 >> 水生 Coatings >> Waterborne Borchers® LH 10 12 Aqueous, solvent-free emulsion of a metal ester (DBTL) Description Borchers® LH 10 is used as an accelerator for waterborne, chemical cross-linking, two component coats like PU-Systems. Properties Borchers® LH 10 is suitable to accelerate the crosslinking process of waterborne two component PU coatings. Due to the strong acceleration of the chemical reaction, a reduced pot-life might occur. High addition rates might reduce the gloss. Applications Borchers® LH 10 improves the drying of chemically curing systems, e. g. aqueous two component polyurethane coatings. Therefore the drying time is reduced. In this way it is possible to proceed and wrap the substrates much faster. In the same time scratch resistance, hardness and mechanical persistence are positively influenced. In higher concentrations Borchers® LH 10 has a matting effect, and therefore should not be used in high gloss formulations. Excellent results can be achieved in mat, highly filled coats and aqueous soft-feel coatings based on two component polyurethane. Addition rate Borchers® LH 10 has to be added to the grinding process of the base component. The recommended amount should be around 0,4 –0,6 % regarding solid content of the binder. The precise addition rate should be determined beforehand in trials. Aqueous, solvent-free emulsion of a metal ester (DBTL).
