A method of incorporating Borchi® Nox C 3 that has proved particularly successful in the case of printing inks involves producing a pre-mix of Borchi® Nox C 3 and the binder, containing 25 parts linseed oil and 3 parts Borchi® Nox C 3. This mixture is heated to approximately 75 °C and stirred at this temperature for 5 - 10 minutes. The homogeneous solution thereby attained is then added to the pigment and milled. The addition rate of Borchi® Nox C 3 is between 0.1 and 0.4 %, relative to total formulation.
