Description
Octa-Soligen® 145 is a combination drier that contains no heavy metals. It was developed specially for use in solventborne systems that dry by oxidation.
Properties
The synergy between the different metals in Octa-Soligen® 145 ensures uniform drying of the paint film. The primary drier yields optimum surface drying whereas the secondary drier improves through-drying. This improves the hardness of the paint film.
Applications
Octa-Soligen® 145 is suitable for use in all types of solventborne system based on medium-oil and long-oil alkyds that dry by oxidation.
Dosing
Application trials have shown the addition of Octa-Soligen® 145 to be between 3 and 6 %, calculated on the solid binder and depending on the binder and pigments used in the formulation.
