*HQHUDO IRGACOR 252 FC is a new organic corrosion inhibitor designed for
flash-rust inhibition and in-can corrosion control. The product form is
specifically designed for use in water-borne systems. For solvent based
systems, IRGACOR 252 LD is recommended.
IRGACOR 252 FC is recommended for water borne coatings to
promote:
· Flash-rust inhibition
· In-can protection
IRGACOR 252 FC is an efficient and effective replacement for nitrite
based inhibitors.
Additional Formulation Recommendations
IRGACOR 252 FC needs to be pre-neutralized with a suitable low
molecular weight amine (e.g. ammonia, triethanolamine, AMP, others)
prior to incorporation.
The amount of IRGACOR 252 FC required for optimum performance
should be determined in trials covering a concentration range.
