VISCALEX HV30 are derivatives of a family of highly effective rheological control thickeners.
VISCALEX HV30 are ideal rheological control additives for a wide range of water-borne coatings.
VISCALEX HV30 are acrylic copolymer emulsions in water.
The above products are members of one acrylic copolymer family. The
polymer provides the rheological control effect through extensive
swelling of the high molecular weight polymer in alkali, in the presence
of water.
VISCALEX HV30 and VISCALEX LO30 are ideal rheological control additives for water-borne coatings. Use of these thickening and rheological control agents allows formulation of coatings with an advantageous thixotropic behaviour giving non stringy formulations which are easy to apply over a wide range of speeds and/or processes. Such formulations are ideally suited for airless spray applications.
VISCALEX HV30 and VISCALEX LO30 are effective in the pH range optimally 7.5-10.5 (see graph next page).
Use level: 1-3.5%.
