Nipacide PX is a low toxicity biocide specifically developed for
the complete microbiological protection of water based products
against bacterial and fungal spoilage in the wet state. Nipacide
PX is a crystalline solid
Nipacide PX is one of a comprehensive range of biocides
manufactured by Clariant UK Ltd. and is described chemically
as p-chloro-3, 5-m-xylenol
Nipacide PX is effective against bacteria, fungi and yeast
Nipacide PX is recommended for a wide range of applications
including medicated powders, soaps, sanitisers, cosmetics,
textiles, glues, paints, anti-dandruff shampoos and non-toxic
germicidal base for many antiseptic applications..
The recommended use level of Nipacide PX as an active agent
for antiseptics is normally in the range 3-5%. To preserve other
product types is normally in the range 0.3-0.5% based on the
total weight of the finished product.
