Highly effective corrosion inhibitor in combination
with zinc phosphate pigments.
Zinc salt of an organic nitro compound.
Alcophor RZ enhances the anticorrosive effect of
pigments that form protective coatings in the anodic
zone.
Alcophor RZ is very suitable for solvent-based and
solvent-free coating compounds. Alcophor RZ is also
effective in aqueous formulations.
Alcophor RZ, as an organic corrosion inhibitor
combined with zinc phosphate pigments, clearly
increases initial weathering resistance and reduces
blister formation.
The amount added is usually 1.5 to 2% of the total
formulation.
Zinc salt of an organic nitro compound. Used as a highly effective corrosion inhibitor in combination with zinc phosphate pigments for solvent-based, aqueous and solvent-free coating compounds. Enhances anticorrosive effect of pigments that form protective coatings in the anodic zone. Increases initial weathering resistance. Reduces blister formation. <br>
Use level: 1.5-2% on the total formulation.
