CAPCURE® LOF is also suitable for low odor, skin resistant clear 5-minute cure epoxy formulations. It may also be used either as a sole curing agent (with t-amine catalysts) or as an accelerator for amines (Versamine®), polyamides (Versamid®) or amidoamines (Genamid®) in adhesive or coating applications. The low skinning and low odor makes this a unique mercaptan curative, while maintaining curing properties very similar to that of long time commercial mercaptan ECA - CAPCURE®3-800. A key feature of these curatives is very fast thin film set time that is essentially independent of thickness. The fast-set characteristics of this product over a wide temperature range (30ºF to 100ºF) offers utility in fast-set adhesives, industrial coatings and civil engineering areas.
