It is another in a new and unique line of rheology modifiers that improves flow properties of latex-based systems. It is supplied as a low viscosity, solvent containing product which allows for easy handling, reduced storage requirements and reduced transportation costs. The "associative" thickening mechanism employed by DSX® 1575 results in the following performance advantages: Superior thickening efficiency Excellent flow and leveling Minimal roller splatter Good scrub resistance Reduced viscosity loss upon tinter addition Application DSX® 1575 is recommended for use in water based emulsion paints and adhesives. If required, DSX® 1575 can be formulated with auxiliary thickeners such as attapulgite clays or low molecular weight cellulosics in order to further achieve optimal application, curing, and storage properties.
