DSX 3800 is a new, environmentally friendly, associative polyurethane thickener. Because of its new chemical structure efficiency at high shear rates is extremely strong. It is composed of only non-critical and environmentally friendly raw materials.
Besides excellent sag resistance the product is well effective at high shear rates leading to benefits like excellent flow and levelling, good gloss, improvement of hiding power and a strong reduction of spattering in roller-application.
DSX 3800 is film forming and hence improves scrub resistance of the coating. It presents pigment binding properties and has excellent UV-resistance.
DSX 3800 is well suited for environmentally friendly interior and exterior latex paints as well as aqueous wood-, industrial and parquet coatings, adhesives, resin based plasters, aqueous anticorrosion paints and printing inks.
