Solution of a special modified polysiloxane.
DEHYDRAN 1293 G is a defoamer and deaerating
agent for use in purely aqueous coatings containing
cosolvents based on polymer emulsions and applied
by curtain coating, spraying, dipping, rolling or
brushing on wood, wood products or metal.
The optimum dosage depends on the individual
formula and should be determined by appropriate
tests, but it is generally in the region of 0.5 - 3%,
calculated on the total batch. DEHYDRAN 1293 G
should be added to the batch as the last ingredient
by stirring intensively. In the manufacture of paints,
part of the total defoamer quantity may be added to
th mill base or to the premix.
