Composition Blend of defoaming ingredients, contains silicone
DEHYDRAN 671 has good defoaming properties in
amine-neutralized aqueous coatings. Tests have
been carried out with systems based on binders
such as alkyd resins, polyacrylic resins, epoxy esters
and phenolic resins. DEHYDRAN 671 shows a
remarkable long-term defoaming effect.Solvent white spirit
As positive side effects, an improvement of the
levelling properties of the coatings and also a
reduction of the floating tendency has been
observed. Negative side effects have not been
observed in connection with appropriate dosages.
The optimum quantity required should be determined
by carrying out appropriate tests.
