Use "CKU" PHENOLIC DISPERSIONS are made up of a
combination of oils and phenolic resins which are
highly polymerized and finely dispersed in solvent.
They are normally employed in combination with
alkyd resins (preferably linseed and/or tung oil
based) in the preparation of anticorrosive primers
and alkyd based paints in so far as they confer to
the system very brief tack-free time as well as
adhesion to galvanized steel and light alloys.
These systems may be overcoated even with
products containing strong solvents and resist very
well to corrosion.
Combination of oils and phenolic resins highly polymerized and finely dispersed in xylene. Used in combination with alkyd resins (preferably linseed and/or tung oil based) in preparation of anticorrosive primers
