DISPONIL O5 ensures a fast and complete dispersion of the pigments is achieved thus permitting higher pigment concentrations to be used. As a result of this and the uniform dispersion achieved, both the stability and hiding power can be improved. Aside from these valuable properties, DISPONIL O5 improves brushability and substrate wetting. By virtue of its surface active properties, the penetration of wood finishes is also improved. DISPONIL O5 is also suitable in aqueous systems. When using DISPONIL O5 at a dosage of 15 - 30 % as a co-emulsifier for the emulsification of resins and resin solutions, the stabilisation, substrate wetting and film forming properties are all improved. DISPONIL O5 exhibits excellent pigment and filler dispersing at low viscosity with 2 pack castings based on epoxy and polyurethane. Furthermore the air release of these systems will be improved. The amount required depends on the type and quantity of both binders and pigments, but is generally 0.2 - 0.5 %, calculated on the finished product. Offers fast and complete dispersion of pigments. Allows high pigment concentrations.
