Use Defoamer for aqueous systems.
Properties FOAMASTER TCX provides efficient foam control in
the manufacture of emulsion paints, high-gloss
paints and emulsion based adhesives. It shows
remarkable compatibility when used in the
production of tinting pastes where colour acceptance
problems are largely avoided. When used in
low-pigmented and non-pigmented emulsion
systems FOAMASTER TCX produces defect free
coatings.
Dosage FOAMASTER TCX is an effective defoamer which
may be added at any phase of production. Dosages
are normally between 0.1 and 0.4%. It is
recommended to add half the required amount prior
to pigment dispersion and the remaining amount in
the final phase of paint manufacture.
If used in emulsion based adhesives the dosage of
FOAMASTER TCX is 1 - 2%.
