Low Odor Anti Skinning Agent for Alkyd Systems
EXKIN ® 518 is a low odor, 25% active, oxime based anti skinning agent for paints and coatings that dry by
oxidation. EXKIN ® 518 prevents the formation of a top film/skin upon storage. EXKIN ® 518 is recommended
when low odor is a priority, along with minimum effect on drying and film properties.

In general, EXKIN ® 518 is effective at 0.4% - 1.0% of the total formulation weight.
Low viscosity, low odor, oxime based anti skinning agent. Used for paints and coatings based on air drying alkyds and oils, and oil-modified polyurethane resins that dry by oxidation. Prevents formation of top film/skin upon storage. Offers minimum effect on drying and film properties, and miscibility with most paint, varnish or enamel systems. Complexes reactive driers like cobalt.
Use level: 0.4-1.0% of the total formulation weight.
