Halwedrol® OX 87/40 W is an aqueous anionic emulsion of specially modified polyurethane resin.
In air and forced drying primers and fillers for steel, wood and medium-density fiberboard (MDF) that exhibit very good overpainting properties and are capable of being sanded after approx. one hour drying time. Also in one-coat, rapid drying paints with early water resistance for aluminum, steel and glass; wood varnishes for interior and exterior use; cork coatings; and as a grind resin for water-borne clay pastes.
Resistant to yellowing.
It possesses rapid physical drying, good adhesion/elasticity characteristics, good resistance to various media, very good wetting of wood, high hardness, very good pigment wetting.
