D.E.H.* 85 phenolic hardener is an
unmodified solid reaction product of
liquid epoxy resins and bisphenol-A.
D.E.H. 85 phenolic hardener is
designed for powder coating applications.
It is fully compatible with epoxy
resins and it can be formulated into
decorative or protective powder coatings.
D.E.H. 85 phenolic hardener is
totally free from flow modifier and curing
accelerator and these additives
must be added separately to the powder
coating formulation. Imidazole and
some of its derivatives are examples
of effective accelerators for the curing
of epoxy resin with D.E.H. 85 hardner.
D.E.H. 85 phenolic hardener is particularly
useful for optimizing the reactivity
of powder coating formulations
which are based on other phenolic
hardeners already containing a curing
accelerator such as D.E.H. 82 or
D.E.H. 84 hardeners.
Phenolic hardener (unmodified solid reaction product of liquid epoxy resins and bisphenol-A). Used for powder coating applications. Offers compatibility with epoxy resins. Suits for decorative or protective powder coatings. Does not contain flow modifier and curing accelerator. Can be used to optimize reactivity of powder coating formulations based on other phenolic hardeners containing a curing accelerator.
