D.E.R.* 337-X90 epoxy resin is a
semi-solid reaction product of
epichlorohydrin and bisphenol-A dissolved
in xylene.
D.E.R. 337-X90 epoxy resin solution,
90 wt.% in xylene, is used alone or in
combination with other bisphenol-A
epoxy resins or novolac epoxy resins
in formulations where ease of mixing
and processing is required. This intermediate
molecular weight bisphenol-A
epoxy resin can be used in adhesives
and industrial protective coatings or as
a modifier for other liquid epoxy resins
to improve impact strength, extensibility
and adhesion. The excellent resistance
and physical properties have
established D.E.R. 337-X90 epoxy
resin solution as a major raw material
for epoxy coal tar combinations and
higher solids content marine coatings.
D.E.R. 337-X90 epoxy resin solution
used with epoxy novolac resins gives
improved flexibility characteristics to
electrical tapes.
Marine & Protective Coatings
Semi-solid reaction product of epichlorohydrin and bisphenol-A dissolved
in xylene. Used alone or in combination with other bisphenol-A epoxy resins or novolac epoxy resins in industrial protective coatings and higher solids content marine coatings. Can be used as a modifier for other liquid epoxy resins to improve impact strength, extensibility and adhesion. Offers very good resistance and physical properties.
