Coil Coating
D.E.R.* 354LV liquid epoxy resin is a
liquid reaction product of bisphenol-F
and epichlorohydrin.
D.E.R. 354LV liquid epoxy resin is a
diluent free bisphenol-F based epoxy
resin of extreme low viscosity. It is
compatible with common epoxy resins
and can be blended with them in any
ratio. D.E.R. 354LV resin is used for
solvent-free coatings, concrete reinforcements,
adhesives, electrical insulation
and filament winding. This lowodor,
chemical resistant, epoxy
novolac-type resin can also be used
for secondary containment applications.
It achieves a high degree of
cure at ambient temperatures which
allows it to withstand acetone for up to
three days while a bisphenol-A type of
formulation can crack in one day.
Bisphenol-F diglycidyl ether epoxy
resins are prone to crystallization.This
reversible physical phenomena can be
greatly avoided by storage at temperatures
not below 25°C.

Low viscosity reaction product of bisphenol-F and epichlorohydrin. Used for solvent-free coatings such as coil, marine and protective coatings. Can be blended with common epoxy resins in any ratio. Offers low odor and chemical resistance. Gives a high degree of cure at ambient temperatures.
