D.E.R.* 732 liquid epoxy resin is a
reaction product of epichlorohydrin
and polypropylene glycol.
D.E.R. 732 is a flexible, low viscosity,
light color, epoxy resin for use in coatings
and adhesives. D.E.R. 732 flexible
epoxy resin, with conventional
bisphenol-A based epoxy resins, it
imparts flexibility, elongation and
improves impact resistance. This resin
serves also as a viscosity reducer, or
can serve as the basis for advanced
polymers for a variety of water-borne
and solvent-borne coatings. Although
many different commercial applications
can benefit from the improved
flexibility and impact properties
offered by this resin, it is particularly
beneficial in construction and civil
engineering applications. In this context,
the pot-life of a formulation can
be extended (reactivity reduced) by
adding D.E.R. 732 to aromatic epoxy
binder systems.

Used as a viscosity reducer or as the basis for advanced polymers for a variety of water-borne and solvent-borne coatings such as automotive, can, marine and protective coatings. Provides elongation. Improves impact resistance. Can be blended with conventional bisphenol-A based epoxy resins.
