Dow Corning ® 2-9034 Emulsion, when formulated with a wax emulsion, can
be used as a water-based wood water repellent for decks, fences, siding, docks
or any unpainted wood that needs protection from moisture. Dow Corning
2-9034 Emulsion is recommended for above-ground applications only.
Dow Corning 2-9034 Emulsion is a
low-VOC, organo-silicone emulsion,
water-based wood water repellent
that when blended with a wax emul-sion
will provide water exclusion,
dimensional stability and water bead-ing
to wood. Supplied at 50 percent
solids in water, Dow Corning 2-9034
Emulsion should be formulated
with a wax emulsion and water to
provide 4 to 8 percent solids
concentration.
Low VOC, water-dilutable nonionic organosilicone emulsion. Used in combination with a wax emulsion as a water-based wood water repellent for decks, fences, siding, docks or any unpainted wood needing protection from moisture. Provides very good water exclusion, improved dimensional stability and long-term water beading. Does not change appearance of substrate. Reduces warping and cracking.
