Provides tactile properties to coatings. In particular can impart soft feel effect of waterborne plastic coatings for automotive interior and electronic casing applications. Provides smooth finish to polyacrylic and polyurethane wood varnishes.
Provides unique surface appearance to waterborne coatings. Silicone elastomer particles impart matte effect to polyurethane plastic coating, acrylic and urethane wood coatings and to acrylic ink.
Imparts mar resistance without significantly reducing coefficient of friction in waterborne coatings and inks.
