EASTMAN chlorinated polyolefin CP 343-1 (25% in Aromatic 100) is a 25% solids solution of a chlorinated polyolefin in Aromatic 100, which has low HAPs content. This chlorinated polyolefin has 18–23 wt % chlorine and a Gardner color value of 7. EASTMAN CP 343-1 is a solution at room temperature. If the product gels on storing at low temperatures, it can be reliquified by warming with agitation. EASTMAN CP 343-1 is an excellent adhesion promoter for polyolefin plastics that allows for formulation of coatings for plastic with low HAPs content.
