It is designed primarily for use as a modifier resin in high performance adhesive and coating compositions. In these applications, its water clear color, heat stability, and resistance to oxidation and discoloration are used to advantage. coatings Endex 155 hydrocarbon resin has excellent color and color stability, no odor, excellent resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation, good UV stability, high melting point, narrow molecular weight distribution, and high glass transition temperature (98oC). Compatible in useful proportions with polystyrene, rosin and modified rosins, rosin esters, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), and styrene based block copolymers. Soluble in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, and ketones. Insoluble in alcohols and glycols.
