METALYN 200 Methyl Ester of Rosin, a resinous plasticizer derived from rosin, is an amber-colored, tacky, viscous liquid. These physical properties, together with its wide compatibility, make it useful in a variety of applications, including lacquers, inks, adhesives, plastics, paper coatings and varnishes.
Resinous nature, clarity, high refractive index, low vapor pressure, high boiling point, excellent surface-wetting properties, viscosity, and tack; compatible and miscible with a wide variety of materials. Compatible at all ratios, or in limited but practically useful proportions, with nitrocellulose, block copolymers, EVA (ethylene vinyl-acetate) copolymers, natural and synthetic resins and rubbers, asphalt, waxes, chlorinated rubber, polyvinyl chloride, vinyl acetate-chloride copolymers, polyvinyl ethers, and such water-soluble film-formers as casein and starch. Incompatible with cellulose acetate.
Amber-colored, tacky, viscous resinous plasticizer derived from rosin. Used in a variety of applications, including lacquers, inks, paper coatings and varnishes. Offers clarity, high refractive index, low vapor pressure, high boiling point, very good surface-wetting properties, viscosity, tack, and very good compatibility with a wide variety of materials.
