PAMAK 2 high purity grade fatty acid is produced by fractional distillation of tall oil. It is a pale, readily handled oily liquid of uniform property and composition. It consists largely of straight chain, 18-carbon mono- and diunsaturated fatty acid, mainly oleic and linoleic, as shown below.
Pale initial color and excellent heat color stability; high fatty acid content; low unsaponifiables; low rosin acids; uniformity.
