PENTALYN H-55WBX synthetic resin dispersion is a 55% solids content, anionic (ion tolerant) aqueous resin dispersion prepared from PENTALYN H synthetic resin, the pentaerythritol ester of hydrogenated rosin. It can be used as a tackifier and plasticizer in aqueous adhesives where hydrocarbon resin and rosin ester emulsions are currently used, and also has utility in other water based systems such as coatings.
Excellent resistance to oxidation and discoloration, solvent free, wide compatibility, free of protective colloids, good ion tolerance.
Compatible (both in the dispersed and dried forms) with natural, SBR, and neoprene rubbers; acrylics, polyvinyl acetate, and vinyl acetate ethylene copolymers.
Solvent-free, anionic aqueous dispersion of pentaerythritol ester of hydrogenated rosin. Used as a plasticizer in water based systems such as coatings. Offers very good resistance to oxidation and discoloration, good ion tolerance and compatibility with natural, SBR, and neoprene rubbers, acrylics, polyvinyl acetate, and vinyl acetate ethylene copolymers.
